Spruce Body Lab Glycolic Peel Guidelines

Please refrain from the activities listed below within 14 days of your appointment:

• having a chemical peel
• tanning in a tanning booth or in direct sunlight that may result in a burn
• having waxing, threading, electrolysis or laser/light based hair removal to your face 5-7 before your peel
• having injectable fillers treatments
• Microdermabrasion

If you think you may be pregnant or trying to get pregnant you are not a candidate for a glycolic peel.

Please refrain from sun exposure at least 10 days prior to your peel and 10 days post peel.

Delay use of Retin A, Renova, Differin, Tazorac or high level glycolics for 5 days prior to your peel.

You are not a candidate if you are on Accutane.

Post Care

These superficial peels will result in little or no downtime. Peels may result in slight redness, tightness, peeling, and flaking and or temporary dryness.

Makeup may be used the next day post peel.

Use the products as suggested by your practitioner post peel.

If you will be in active sun protect your skin regularly with sun block.
