Spruce Body Work Therapists
Marla Savoie AMTW, Certified Practitioner of Structural Integration/ The Rolf Method
Update!
Marla completed training for the Rolf Method in Kauai, HI and Boulder, CO through the Guild for Structural Integration, adding
this specialty to her 15 years as a massage therapist. Unique in its aim, Structural Integration addresses segments of the body (torso, limbs, joints, soft tissue, spine) in a series of 10 sessions to achieve balance and length, often resulting in improved posture and decreased pain that result from chronic holding patterns. Learning under long esteemed masters of this craft, she is excited to bring Structural Integration to Spruce Body Lab and looks forward to introducing her clientele to the many benefits that occur through the unique process of the ten series. She invites you to experience a session with no pressure of a commitment to the 10 sessions, only if you feel the work is right for you does she encourage you to experience the series.

Marla graduated from McKay school of Massage and Hydrotherapy in 1996 and has been a practicing therapist for the past 15 years. With experience in clinical and spa settings she strikes a balance between wellness approaches to pain and injury as well as relaxation techniques in combating stress, fatigue and muscle tension.

She encourages everyone to try this treatment as an excellent way of relieving headaches, muscular tension in the upper shoulders, back, neck, head and face, sinus pain and congestion as well as helping to alleviate mental fatigue and depression.
Marla enjoys deeper soft tissue modalities and works with fascial and trigger point techniques in relieving chronic pain and postural abnormalities.
Her interest in Eastern healing led her to complete acupressure training at the Berkeley Acupressure Institute in California as well as intermediate shiatsu therapy. Marla strongly believes in the innate intelligence of the body and its ability to restore health and views herself as a facilitator in this process.
